A three judge panel of the Louisiana Appeals Court has upheld that state's 197 year old sodomy law.
The majority held that the plaintiffs brought no evidence that the law discriminates against gays and lesbian citizens. The majority also sided with the trial judge, in not allowing expert testimony as to the discriminatory impact of the law on gays and lesbians.
