Two Cartoons This Week…
I’ve been a busy little dickens lately… The first one’s about bin Laden’s demand that the Danish Twelve cartoonists be extradited to al Qaeda "…to be judged by the law of Allah"…
The second one is about sex abstinence advocate Marcella V. Meyer’s attempt to force Kraft Foods, via a shareholder’s resolution, to withdraw support for the 2006 Gay Games and "…any other future activities supporting, proselytizing, promoting or encouraging homosexual activity or life style."
More about each of them (and the full size versions) on the Cartoon Page…

Well that’s really swell. Let’s all hope for a world where we’re all free to worship according to the needs of our conscience, and where our right to freely practice our religion, or not practice any, and express an opinion about it, doesn’t put us on some bloodthirsty jackass’s hit list.
More people should understand something that we gay folks have understood for years: that Pride isn’t something that depends on what other people think of you. The next time you see a cartoon, or anything else that offends you, just ignore it. If you’re really proud to begin with, then what matters is what you have, what you are, inside…not other people say or do or think.
