Well I See The Blue Noses Haven’t Won Yet…
The following opening sentence, taken from a genuine newspaper story, is brought to you as a public service of the Society For Laughing In Robert Bork’s Face:
A jazz musician was injured Friday after jumping from a burning motor home driven by a one-time roller skating stripper from Lodi.
As long as there is Jazz there will always be an America…

Sandwiched between two posts and ’60’s songs, and no reference to Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Lodi”? :)
How does one become a roller-skating stripper? That’s actually kinda…impressive, if you think about it.

(Laugh) You know…I have No Idea. But it just seems so…so right…so cosmiclly Right…that a roller skating stripper was driving that burning motor home when a jazz musician jumped out of it. That one act probably restored equlibrium to an ocean of bad karmic imbalance in the world. Maybe even atoned for Windows Vista in the eyes of the Gods. Who knows what reckoning we’ve been spared.
Creedence was never really my thing, surprisingly enough, which is why I didn’t connect the song to it. But…yeah…stuck in Lodi again all right. But my problem isn’t that I’m stuck playing my tunes for a bunch of drunks. Although that I’d rather be lonely then be stuck in a bar with a bunch of drunks, is probably one reason why I’m still lonely…
