There’s something scary about people who just brainlessly parrot stuff from the Bible without bothering to consider the implications of what they’re saying and question any of it. This idiot sees nothing contradictory in saying, “God loves mankind” AND “God wants us to kill each other.”
Probably because the People God Wants Us To Kill are never one of “Us”. They’re always the “Other” who don’t count as part of mankind.
I can’t stand people who use God as an excuse to be an asshole.

Yeah there’s something scary about them. Mary Renault captured the mindset perfectly in this passage from The Charioteer…
