There is no growing up, I used to say, there is only growing. Then today I came across this comment I made in a Facebook post about technological change:<\/p>\n

Something I’ve noticed: progress makes some people feel old and others always feeling young…<\/p>\n

…because you’re always having to learn new sh*t. All this time I’ve been attributing that constant twenty-ish mindset I have to a state of arrested development and that’s not it. It isn’t that I never grew up, it’s that I never got tired of growing up.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
