Valentine’s Day — it’s not so much about love<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

LONDON (Reuters) – Eight million Americans admit they send themselves Valentine’s Day gifts — they may feel lonely and unloved but at least they will get something nice.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Swell.  But I can get myself something nice any day of the week too, and I already know that I love me.  I bought myself a nice Mercedes-Benz back in October and if that’s not a proof of love I don’t know what is.<\/p>\n

I’ll buy myself a nice birthday cake when I have to, and that’s about it.  I did that for years until last year, when my friends give me a really nice birthday party, and I’m here to tell you a cake from your friends, beats out one you bought for yourself by light years.  If I can’t have the real thing on Valentine’s Day, then I reckon I’ll just stew in my juices and sulk.  I’m an artist…I do a good sulk.<\/p>\n
