Though I am retired since last February, a couple months after launch, my project manager got me an invite. Some day I should sit down and write my memoirs, since it&#8217;s been a long strange trip.<\/p>\n<p>It was an amazing day. I&#8217;m still feeling the afterglow. To have been a part of it all for the last 23 1\/2 years is so very cool. I did not expect to have this life.<\/p>\n<p>They were all happy to see me at the Institute. How is retirement they asked. Very strange I said. And then they all made me feel like I was part of the team again.
