Bill never said anything about all characters need to be &quot;pure&quot;, only that heroes should act heroic. And he wants to make sure they do in HIS books. He wasn&#039;t ordering anyone to follow some kind of dogma. He just felt his way to contribute to the culture is to stop trying to tear things down.&#160;
Yes, some posters on the thread were a little extreme, but that&#039;s the internet for you. Some of them were lefty trolls trying to incite things.
I realize your post is somewhat&#160; tongue-in-cheek. But his arguments, if you read them with a fair mind, are not extreme or unreasonable. Even liberals like Kurt Busiek and Heidi MacDonald have defended him on some other sites.&#160;
And, while I post on Big Hollywood. I am more of a libertarian than a conservative.&#160;
